About me- Where it all began..

My journey started in couture fashion design, where I learnt the importance of craftsmanship, beautiful fabrics, intricate details and creating pieces that make women feel special.

From there, I moved into the world of high street fashion, where I found my pace. I loved creating beautiful, wearable designs and seeing them come to life — but most importantly, seeing how the right piece could make a woman feel good and give her confidence.

Throughout my career, I’ve been incredibly lucky to travel all over the world, including spending a lot of time in India, Bangladesh and China.

It was through these travels that I discovered something I became completely passionate about — the incredible craftsmanship, creativity and skills found in different countries and cultures.

I would see beautiful pieces, traditional techniques, fabrics, embellishments and handcrafted details that felt unique and special, and I always wished I could bring some of that beauty back home to the UK.

And that is where Petty and Nice began.

Petty and Nice brings together my love of fashion, colour, craftsmanship and beautiful things, with a carefully handpicked collection of pieces discovered and inspired by my travels.

Everything I choose has something that catches my eye — whether it’s the colour, the craftsmanship, a beautiful detail or simply something that makes me smile.

After a lifetime in fashion, this feels like a natural next chapter for me — sharing the things I love and giving talented craftsmanship from around the world a place to be discovered and enjoyed here in the UK.
